The first regional train started out fairly empty and was overall a pretty enjoyable ride, something I cannot say about the train to Berlin. It was filled with people desperately trying to get some sleep and while I found a place to sit the smell was quite horrible as the one closest to seemed to have come from heavy partying. First order of business was to buy some propane gas can and then visit the restaurant for one last meal in civilization. The lunch menu was a buffet with the main item being reindeer stroganoff.
