Yesterday I had the pleasure of going to a concert of the Marktfest in Saalfeld. While I skipped the very first Band I got to see both Die Happy and JBO.
## Die Happy
Overall I would probably call [Die Happy](https://open.spotify.com/artist/5WvEHnWRNfz9AOLYclfsLM?si=B2qZ9m2YS0CIG4Dm_znZcg) a very serviceable pre. They made some good noise had a bunch of songs that got some energy going in the crowd but overall they were not anything outstanding. It probably was mostly an issue of taste. I still recommend taking the time for a quick listen.
## JBO
[JBO](https://open.spotify.com/artist/6xyJPaGMOPyGyVlqAU2GqE?si=Vuu2tcE0TO-A6iA9g73h2Q) was an absolutely amazing act. While they mostly focus on parody covers they choose the songs to cover well so you never had a down in energy throughout the concert. The parodied texts were witty and of decent (fecal) humor.
It is noteworthy that all their texts were in German.
## The crowd
Unfortunately the crowd was the usual sleepy and anemic crowd you are used to from at most German concerts. Most people were locals with the diehard JBO fans bringing significantly more energy than the rest.
## Overall
Great evening for a staggeringly good price. The only real detractor was beer being served in 0.4l glasses.
